Clip Studio Paint - My Color Palette

Hi guys! Here..! My color palette from Clip Studio; enjoy!

After making 40 comics for Editorial Televisa, this is the selection of colors.. mainly skin tones.. and a lot of ambient ones, used in skies, trees, earth, soil, clouds.. and rendering materials of any kind.

Most of them, with low saturation and high brightness, so you can work with a CYMK compatible scheme of color. (Dark and saturated colors, tend to convert badly from RGB to CYMK.)

That's it..! XD

Left to "Color Set" tab, you can import the *.CLS file. It works in desktop and iPad version as well. (On iPad, just visit the link and "open it" in Clip Studio Paint App.)

BAAL - LAYOUT 006

The monster eats BAAL alive! BAAL can't do anything to help herself but watch motionless. After this horrible ending.. BAAL wakes in a steampunk-like room.. just to be called from the shadows.

The next sketch I made back in 2009, was of this unusual couple.. a girl and a cat. The tone of the story turn dark and nostalgic as I draw more and more.. but.. This guys, so happy and silly, would it have worked??? Almost ten years..!!! Where does time go???

I've told you before that BAAL is indeed a kind of hymn that Marutuk hears somewhere in time.. but at this early stage of the comic, BAAL sings this song and this monster just feeds in her flesh.. and BAAL, as she goes into the darkness; tries to make her own voice, a name that echoes into the universe..

In this layout, you can see an important narrative resource I used in the final comic; singing..! XD BAAL, in fact.. is a kind of a chant, or hymn, that Marutuk hears at the dawn of time.. but it'll take eons to him to understand that song.. XD

reimpresión BAAL 1

When I printed the #1 of BAAL, I made a really bad decision.. I ordered 500 copies of it.. and, the rest of the comics (numbers 2, 3 and 4); have 500 copies as well. So, it was just a matter of time before I ran out of the number 1 of this mini-series. I didn't really knew that it'll happen the way it does.. that number 1 comics just sell better and faster than the rest of the series. So... I'm reprinting the number 1, and since you are my partner in crime; here it is; the new cover. What do you think..??? You like..??? XD I'll print 1000 copies this time, even if the rest of the comics just have less than 300 copies (the number 2 just have like.. 100 copies).. and when I run out of comics, I'll just give digital copies with this reprint. Thanks..!!! XD

So, after I painted some gal at 300 dpi, the next step was to really challenge the ipad version of this software.. so, yes.. a new illustration, this time with 1200dpi in monochrome version. And CSP just goes flawlessly.. impressive indeed..!!!

Illustrated with procreate app on an ipad pro. XD I know, it's a really strange song, but I couldn't get out of my head this guy that has a gynoid, and suddenly; dies. But the gynoid doesn't know why he just don't pay attention to her anymore. So she has all those feelings and, yeah.. understanding that he will never be the same...
