BAAL - First Draft

March 2012
I sketched some ideas and began the writing process of BAAL #1. One image in my mind, was this hand "erupting" from some strange soil. BAAL will be born from earth.. so others can be born from other elements as well.

BAAL - LAYOUT 002

The pages here, show BAAL going across a silent city. There's information about the music "mood"; Air - "Mayfair Song". And some nonsense word I dreamed some years ago: Affuno. I don't know what it means, I just dreamed about a street named Affuno, and a silent place. I later used this layout for BAAL #2 almost unchanged.

The very first sketch of BAAL in 2009..!!! And, "gato", the faithful sidekick.. and a strange cat that I used to work with for some magazine. XD

BAAL - LAYOUT 001

A few years ago, BAAL was just nonsense sketching in my notebooks and any paper at hand. At first, I was thinking about a girl who has a journey of metamorphosis, and she gets to become a Goddess. God in latin, translates to DEUS, so.. that's the reason of that title.

Here, as an example of the reward content; I'm posting the very first layout of BAAL. Here's the cover and page 1.

As you can see.. The cover reveals a conflict, and the page 1 reveals a girl on an odd suit, with a steampunk-like computer.
